Allē Loyalty Program — Smooth Skin and Smarter Savings?
Injectables and incentives. Two words you might not have thought belong together—but in the ubiquitous world of rewards programs, lucky for us, they do.
Allē, the rewards program from the folks at Allergan (the geniuses behind Botox, Juvéderm, and more), brings their spin on loyalty to your medspa appointments. With thousands of participating dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and medspas nationwide, Allē makes it (relatively) easy to earn points on everything from body sculpting to breast implants (yes, really). It's like your forehead isn’t the only thing getting a little lift—your wallet is too. But is the program as smooth as the skin it promotes, or does it cause more scowls? We took a look.

How You Earn:
Allē covers a broad mix of 10 treatments and products—Botox, Juvéderm, Kybella, CoolSculpting, SkinMedica skincare, Latisse, and more—making it one of the most comprehensive aesthetics-focused loyalty programs out there. It’s free to join online, in their app, or directly at your provider’s office.
The number of points you earn varies based on the product. Some are rewarded by “treatment,” others by “syringe,” “visit,” or “kit”—with some having a flat capped structure. Other than SkinMedica products (which earn 1 point per $1 spent), most treatments don’t directly scale with spend. So, more expensive providers won’t necessarily earn you more points, and doing multiple things in one visit may not earn you much extra.
For those of us who (admittedly) get anti-aging treatments frequently, there are enough items on the Allē list that typically require repeat purchases throughout the year. Botox, Juvéderm, Diamond Glow, and Latisse are not one-and-done treatments, which makes repeat transactions—aka the holy grail of loyalty—easy to rack up.
SkinMedica products also have a stellar reputation and a wide SKU list to choose from, making that 1-point-per-dollar earn rate a great way to boost your balance.
Allē also promotes additional point-earning opportunities within provider offices for other non-Allergan products and services, giving a flat 50 points per treatment. The list is extremely long (in a good way) and covers everything from surgeries to chemical peels to competing skincare products. This is a really interesting—and unheard of—benefit in the loyalty space. It’s like Starbucks rewarding you for drinking Dunkin’. Maybe Allergan just wants the data? If so, smart move—and we’re here for it.
On the promo front, the program features something called Allē Flash. Check in, scan a QR code at your provider’s office, and you might unlock a deal or prize. A nice little reminder that the program exists—even if we’re not sure how often promotions actually run.
Fine print item: Points hit your account within 48 hours. Claps for that.
A-List tier: celebrity skin, meh benefits
Allē has a status tier—A-List—for high rollers injectors. ou’ll reach this after spending $1,400 annually. Sounds like a lot? Not really. Just one or two sessions of eligible treatments could put you there.
A-List perks include:
No point expiration
Priority access to offers
Maybe a birthday gift, maybe not (it varies)
But let’s not oversell it. The only real benefit is the first one—your points won’t expire as long as you have at least one transaction per calendar year. That’s nice, especially since most treatments aren’t happening monthly. Everything else? Meh.
For something called A-List, the perks feel more like B-list celebrity.
How your Redeem
Redemption is where Allē really shines—simple math, easy structure:
100 points = $10 off, minimum.
Redeem in $10 increments.
Just tell your provider at your appointment. (Yes, you likely have to mention it. Your forehead may be frozen, but your mouth still works.)
There’s no auto-redeem, and if you forget to tell your provider, those points stay parked and could expire unless you’re an A-Lister. This is not the kind of program you want to sleep on, because the treatments are spaced far enough apart that forgetting you even have points is a real risk.
What’s the Value?
(Note: by “return value” we mean how much are you save relative to how much you had to spend to earn it. For example, if you spent $100 to earn enough points to redeem $10, that’s a 10% return value).
Here at Rewarded or Robbed, we do the math so you don’t have to. Based on typical treatment prices and the $10-per-100-points redemption rate, here’s a chart showing return value. (Prices will vary depending on your provider and location—sorry, LA, we know you pay a premium for beauty, but constant sunshine doesn’t come cheap.)
If you’re a SkinMedica loyalist, you're actually getting a fantastic return at 10%. If you're more into big-ticket procedures like CoolSculpting or Kybella, the returns drop a bit. Still, even the low-end values here beat out a lot of retail programs (ahem, looking at you Nordstrom with 1% back).
🕵️♂️ Any Fine Print?
Yes, Allē’s terms might cause more wrinkles than your frown lines. But to be fair, while the list is long, most of the rules aren’t overly restrictive.
· Points expire after 12 months unless you’re A-List. This is the harshest rule given how infrequent visits can be.
· Non-Allergan brands can earn you points but you can’t redeem for them, and there are caps for number of treatments and brands you can earn with per year.
· Point earning caps exist—Botox caps at 8 treatments/year, Juvéderm at 6 syringes per transaction and 20/year. But most limits are generous enough to accommodate typical usage. You also can earn a maximum of 5000 points in a calendar year (value: $500 in rewards) which is fair.
· Redemptions are not automatic—you must request them in person or link your account online when buying SkinMedica online.
· A-List is off-limits if you're a licensed healthcare provider or enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, or similar programs.
The verdict:
Allē gets a gold star (or maybe a gold syringe?) for simplicity and broad eligibility. It covers a wide range of treatments and has one of the clearest redemption schemes in the loyalty universe. The return values are solid, especially if you’re a regular user. We’re not thrilled about the point expiration, but since reaching A-List isn’t that hard, we’ll let it slide.
Just remember to track your earnings and remind your provider to redeem those points.
